Description

This course is designed for non-native speakers of English. The general goal of the course is to provide students with the tools necessary to acquire a deeper command and fluency of the English language by refining the basic oral skills mastered in Basic English l, and to teach new skills in reading and writing.

A variety of reading material will be introduced to stimulate an interest in reading and an appreciation for literary values. The course will focus on vocabulary development, both orally and writing, while fostering critical thinking in the students.
